There are 4 artists with this name: 1) Area51 (New Zealand) was formed in 1993 by one member of an Electronic live act called 'Krell Lab' and continued playing live and producing till 1997. 2) AREA51 (Japan) was formed in 2003 by Yoichiro Ishino, who had great ambitions to pursue his ideal heavy metal music.
