Batteaux

Biography

Batteaux was brothers Robin Batteau and David Batteau. Robin had previously played violin in appaloosa and compton & batteau, and David would release a solo album following Batteaux's one album. After signing with personal manager, Richard Flanzer (Roger Daltrey, Manhattan Transfer, Dr. John) Batteaux auditioned for legendary hit maker, Clive Davis. Columbia Records signed the brothers immediately. Their song, "Tell Her She's Lovely", was released by "El Chicano" becoming a top 40 hit single. Both Robin and David continue to write and record.
