Biography
Comanechi are an ear splittingly loud punk rock band formed in Hackney London by Akiko ‘Keex ‘ Matsuura (The Big Pink, Pre) and Simon Petrovitch. They’ve been thrashing the London club scene since the late 2000s. Releasing a slew of 7”s on indie labels Merok and White Heat, and appearing on Rough Trade’s Counter Culture, set the stage for their debut album Crime of Love (Merok) to be released to universal critical acclaim in early 2010.
