Biography

1) Daniel Jones is an improvising musician based in Brighton. One third of the groups Loris (with Patrick Farmer and Sarah Hughes) and Tierce (with Jez Riley French and Ivan Palacky) he has released music on the Another Timbre, Cathnor, Engraved Glass and Roeba labels. 2) Daniel Jenkyn Jones OBE (December 7, 1912 – April 23, 1993) was a Welsh composer of classical music. Jones was born in Pembroke, Wales. He studied at the University of Wales and the Royal Academy of Music, where his teachers included Sir Henry Wood.
