Dorothy Carless
Biography
Dorothy Carless was born in 1921, and seemingly living in California in 1997.Her sisters were Pearl Carr, born 1923 (I'm sure Pearl Carr was NOT Dorothy's sister?), who had a popular singing partnership in the U.K with Teddy Johnson, and Carole Carr, 1928 - 1997, who also sang with bands such as Geraldo, as did Dorothy. Through the late 1930s , the 1940s and into the 1950s continued singing with various bands. A good pianist ,she got her break with Ray Noble's orchestra in the 1930s, moying on to other bands such as Ambrose and Geraldo.
