Biography
Ramón Alberto Gálvez, also known as “El Gringo De La Bachata” was born in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic. From a very young age, Ramon sang at family gatherings and parties. His musical creativity was nurtured in a very “bohemian” environment. His father, Manuel de Jesus Galvez, a well-known bachatero from the 60s and 70s, was a great influence to Ramon. Ramon later moved to New York where he had the opportunity to record his first album.
