Biography
Hi-Posi is essentially the solo project of vocalist/instrumentalist/songwriter Miho Moribayashi. The band formed in 1988 and have released albums in Japan from Toshiba EMI, Biosphere Records and Kitty Records. Mr.Shindo became her music producer in 1997 and they made the natural move to CTPR(Contemp Records) in 1998. Hi-Posi's music is indescribable, irresistible pop. A wildly eclectic array of inspirations, including new wave, techno-pop, ska, and lounge, are thrown into the blender to create a mix that can only be described as Hi-Posi.
