There is more than one band called Jack in the Box 1. a japanese musician 2. an Israeli indie trio 3. a heavy metal band from norway Jack in the Box was a heavy metal / grunge band from Norway, formed in 1990 by the brothers Rune Lamøy og Frode Lamøy. They were discovered by TNT guitarplayer Ronnie LeTekrö and released the EP Rockjumping in 1993. Two years later the full-length Stigma was released, and received 5 K's of 5 possible in the music magazine Kerrang! The video to French Fries For Breakfast even got rotation on MTV.
