Kruzenshtern & Parohod (Russian: ??????????? ? ???????) is a Russophone Israel klezmer-rock band from Tel Aviv, created in 2002. The Kruzenshtern & Parohod’s style may be defined as Jewish avant-rock. The music, based on the Jewish melodies and influenced by as different music styles as hardcore, rock-in-opposition, jazz, and more, is of avant-garde and experimental nature. Its style is variously branded as experimental jazz, klezmercore (a pun on hardcore), ethno jazz, avant-garde.
