Biography
in september 2003 dirk darmstaedter was back in teaneck, new jersey where he had grown up for his high school reunion. whilst his old schoolfriends had become bankers, baseball coaches, wall street brokers, lawyers, policemen or cia agents(!), fate had made different career decisions for dirk. moving to hamburg, germany at age 12 (he returned on his own for 2 years at 17) definitly put an end to any pro baseball aspirations. in germany, at 21, dirk
