Biography
Musica Reservata is a musical ensemble founded in London in 1960 by Michael Morrow, John Beckett and John Sothcott. Michael Morrow and John Beckett became the creative directors. [1] The group's main intention was to rediscover and reinterpret mainly renaissance and baroque music, and since its inception has given recitals throughout the world, undertaken broadcasts and given numerous recorded performances, thus popularising medieval and early modern music.
