Biography

Petri Laaksonen's career started as a composer. He composed songs for other artists and his first ever released song was Finland's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 "Eläköön Elämä" performed by Sonja Lumme. Since then Petri has composed five other songs to Finnish National Final for the Eurovision and win it once more in 1987 with "Sata Salamaa" performed by Vicky Rosti.
