Biography

Pocket Orchestra was an American avant-garde progressive band that existed from the late 70s into the mid 80s, playing an extrememly complex mixture of chamber music, rock, and improvisational music. The core of the band was guitarist Tim Parr, drummer Bob Stearman, bassist Tim Lyons, keyboardist Craig Bork, cellist Bill Johnston; reed player Joe Halajian joined later. They were often joined by others playing various other instruments. After starting in Phoenix
