1) Social Club was a noisy pop band from San Jose CA 1985 - 1990. Influences included the Who, the Replacements and instrumental surf music. the band: John Barrett - guitar and vocals Mike Donio - guitar and vocals Mo Heringer - drums Dave Schumacher - bass discography: 1986 - 3 tracks "San Jose is Ground Zero" compilation 1987 - 1 track on "the Laundry Works - All Washed UP" compilation 1988 - "Flogging Peasants" album 1989 - 7 demo tracks that never got released
