Biography
Iyo Matsumoto (????) is a Japanese singer, talent and actress. Born on June 21, 1965 in Ota, Tokyo. Her married name is Kozono Iyo - Matsumoto is her maiden name. Matsumoto was discovered by a Bond Kikaku scout and first made her debut in show business in 1981 as an actress in the TBS dorama Tanokin Zenryokutoukyou. Later that year, she also made her debut as a singer with the release of her first single, "Sentimental Journey". She went on to win the Rookie of the Year Award in 1982 for the Nihon Record Taishou.
