Winner of the Australian 'Blues Album of the Year' award in 2008, 'Way Down The River' is Australian blues at it’s best. With a big soulful voice that is as deep and passionate as his finger-picking, and wine bottleneck slide that is flawless, Sugarcane Collins is a spellbinding Australian solo blues performer. His amazing career has gone through a variety of incarnations and styles since he first started singing blues, jazz, country and folk in the waterfront bars and cane field pubs of Cairns.
