Biography

Syntonic Research, Inc. was created by Irving Solomon Teibel (1938 – 2010) to record and distribute the "Environments" series of nature and environmental recordings. The recordings that make up the 11 LPs, 16 cassette tapes, and 3 CDs in the series were made between the late 1960’s and late 1970’s. Teibel was born in Buffalo, New York and later attended college at The Rochester Institute of Technology, Cooper Union, and The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
