Something like a cross between Sparks and Guided by Voices performing Kastanetz-Katz bubblegum pop - from Canada. Great indie / alt/ college (whatever suffix your require) rock with helium vocals and lyrical whimsy: amazing live, though sadly defunct so you missed your chance (unless you didn't)
