THE ECCENTRIC OPERA is a Japanese music duo consisting of vocalist Nami Sagara (相良奈美) and arranger/keyboardist Nahoko Kakiage (書上奈朋子). Prior to being signed by a major label, THE ECCENTRIC OPERA was simply known as "Opera" (started by Nami Sagara in 1992). Originally, the group had a third member, Yutaka Kawashima (vocalist). Over 4 major-label albums and 1 mini-album, the group has primarily recorded self-proclaimed "eccentric" covers of classical operatic pieces
