The Pookies
Biography
The Pookies was a punk rock band formed in 1999 in Lyon (France) around Forest (vocals and bass), Fred (guitar) and Loup (drums). In 2001, they released an EP 7t. entitled "Dirty Flowers" in a register Burning Heads / Seven Hate After many gigs, they recorded their only album in 2005 entitled "Guns & Stunts Mariachis." This album includes 12 tracks, it's a mixture of Hot Water Music, Foo Fighters and flamenco. The group was influenced by Hot Water Music, Randy, Propagandhi, Foo Fighters, Paco De Lucia ... They played their last concert in 2008.
