The Spoony Bards United States
Biography
The Spoony Bards are a loose collection of instrumentalists and vocalists who play music from video games and anime, usually at U.S. anime conventions. The group formed at Anime Central 2004 when, according to their web site, "a group of friends, both old and new, decided that they couldn't NOT sit and play music in the con hotel lobby, despite being without any sound equipment or a piano." The Spoony Bards consist of a tight core group of players which is then supplanted by anyone who's around and chooses to join in.
