There are five bands whom share the name Topaz: 1) A Jazz-Funk group from Texas, fronted by Topaz McGarrigle 2) A female Hip Hop artist from New Zealand 3) An Electronic Dream/Chillwave artist from Chicago 4) A Chiptune artist. 5) An AOR band from Chicago 1) Topaz (Texas) Topaz is a Jazz-Funk group from Texas. Topaz McGarrigle got his start playing saxophone on the streets of downtown Austin, TX. Topaz continued his musical aspriations in London during high school in the height of the acid-jazz scene.
