Biography
DC-based brass band which ranges stylistically from traditional jazz to go-go. Formed in 1990, the group released two records for the Mapleshade subsidiary Wildchild and a live record on their own. The band brought a great deal of talent to the table and gained a fair deal of recognition in the media, sharing the stage with a number of nationally known acts and playing the Montreux Jazz Festival in Detroit. Unfortunately, the band doesn't seem to have been very active since 1999 or so.
