Biography
Adventures In Stereo were a band set up by one-time Primal Scream member Jim Beattie and singer Judith Boyle on the breakup, at the end of 1991, of their previous short-lived 4AD band Spirea X. They released records on the Glaswegian label Creeping Bent and the German label Marina (which appears to exist solely as a platform for obscurities from the Scottish indie scene!) The band developed the Spirea X sound by adding a heavy dose of sample loops to the jangly guitar/laconic vocals template
