Akin Yai
Biography
Born in Ouidah, Benin (West Africa) Akinlola Yai spent his early childhood years migrating back and forth from Benin republic to Nigeria. Akinlola moved to America at 8 years old and at the height of the golden year of hip-hop That winter Akinlola immediately immersed himself in American popular culture, music and most specifically hip-hop like N.W.A's Straight Outta Compton and lyricists like Rakim. Akin Yai is best known as being a member of the hip-hop group Cyne.
