Alasehir is the project from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of Bardo Pond brothers Michael and John Gibbons with drummer Michael Zangha formed in 2006. Unlike the Gibbons' project Alumbrados, also being released on Important at the same time, Alasehir is more rock oriented, establishing a heady, heavy groove and jamming on throughout it.
