Biography
The Beaux Arts Trio was one of the most important piano trios, being regarded as pathbreaking for the classical-romantic repertoire. The trio was founded in 1955 at the Tanglewood Music Festival. Its original instrumentation was: - Menahem Pressler (piano) - Daniel Guilet (violin) - Bernard Greenhouse (violoncello) The final instrumentation is: - Menahem Pressler (piano) - Daniel Hope (violin) - Antonio Meneses (violoncello) Beaux Arts Trio disbanded in 2008.
