Biography
Bielizna were formed in 1984 as Bielizna Goeringa (Goering's Underwear) by two friends at Gda?sk Polytechnic - Jaros?aw Janiszewski and Jaros?aw Figura. Janiszewski - the singer and lyricist for the band - writes characteristically surreal lyrics (song titles include "Ko?ysanka dla narzeczonej tapicera" ("Lullaby for the Upholsterer's Fiancee") and "Stylowa ?abka i chemiczne grubasy" ("The Stylish Frog and the Chemical Fatties") and has a very characteristic vocal style.
