Biography
He began playing professionally at age eighteen, playing with musicians such as Johnny Alf, Antonio Carlos & Maria Jocafi and Creuza. In the year 1981 started to follow Hermeto Pascoal , playing with him until 1993 , when he began his solo career. He also played with Egberto Gismonti , Pat Metheny , Gil Evans , Marcus Miller , Charlie Haden , Wagner Tiso , Laertius de Freitas and Nico Assumption .
