Christian Hansen & the Autistics is an alternative/electro pop band that's like a mix between that scene from the Breakfast Club where they all get high and dance and that scene from Trainspotting where Spud wakes up covered in his own shit. "Like a smartie-pants sweetheart beneath a flamboyant asshole moustache, Edmonton-based CH&A slather disarmingly thoughtful lyricism in buoyant synth-driven rhythms and bleepy melodies that borrow heavily (and utterly without irony) from hedonistic late 80s/early 90s club fare
