Biography
Precision/free-form instrumental desert rock three piece. Brisbane band Del Toro have developed a dedicated fan base in a short time, sharing bills with Trans Am, Brant Bjork & The Bros, Sekiden, I Heart Hiroshima... Influenced by so-called "post-rock" bands (Shellac, Tortoise, Turing Machine, Slint, Mogwai) and the barren soundscapes of Can and Neu!, Del Toro remove themselves to the background to construct layered compositions that often border on the cinematic.
