Biography
Derroll Adams was born in Portland, Oregon on November 27 1925. Derroll was a noted exponent of the Banjo and although not well known in the mainstream he inspired a host of other artists. Ramblin' Jack Elliott was a close friend over his lifetime and they toured together. Although born in America, Derroll Adams spent much of his time in Europe. He died on February 6 2000.
