Biography
Formed in Riverside, California, USA, in 1967, the Dirty Blues Band evolved out of several groups active in the region. The Dirty Blues Band offered a mixture of classic songs from Albert King, Sonny Boy Williamson and Willie Dixon, sprinkled with stylised originals in first two albums, both released in 1968. Its hard to believe that Rod Piazza was barely 19 when he recorded the first LP of this 2 album collection. His trade mark fat toned harmonica sound and technique were surprisingly already well developed.
