Biography

Ezginin Günlü?ü (means "The Diary of the Melody" in Turkish) is a Turkish band formed in 1982 in Istanbul by Nadir Göktürk, Hakan Y?lmaz, ?ebnem Ba?ar, Tugay Ba?ar, Vedat Verter, and Emin ?güs. Their first album, Seni Dü?ünmek, was released in 1985. All the members except Nadir Göktürk had left the group by 1990. Hüsnü Arkan and Fatih Saçl? have joined the band and the first album involving them, ?stavrit, was released in 1993. The popularity of the band increased dramatically after the album Oyun was released in 1995.
