There are five artists sharing the name of Flare: 1) Flare is a popular Croatian rock band, founded in 1998. by siblings An?a Mari? (lead vocal) and Jeronim Sabolcz (Jerko) Mari? (guitar). 2) Flare are songwriter/vocalist LD Beghtol and multi-instrumentalist Charles Newman. Based in NYC they blend classic pop with experimental, classical, country music and noise. Flare have released two albums to date 'Bottom' & 'Hung'. Beghtol's vocals attracted the attention of Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields).
