Biography
Freetown are an exciting urban band that draw their style from Ska, Rocksteady, Street and Reggae. Freetown have been playing solid ska since the 1990s, when they were the backing band of choice for Laurel Aitken, the `Godfather of Ska'. From 2001, when Laurel stopped touring due to ill health, Freetown went on to tour with Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, Dave Barker, Winston Francis and many other great Jamaican artists. The rhythm section features Jah Bunny on drums
