Biography
Gel-Sol is Andrew Reichel of Seattle, Washington. With an intimate knowledge of computer-based composition, Gel-Sol is informed by both ambient and IDM material, Gel-Sol’s dichotomous sound spans raw extremes. Loud and soft, consonant and dissonant, cat and dog; Gel-Sol meanders back and forth between poles. Gel-Sol’s debut album, Music Made For You...And By You, I Mean Me (aka 1104), was released in December of ‘04 by Nottingham, UK?s collectors? label, Em:t Records.
