He has written and recorded with artists such as Whitney Houston, Ashford & Simpson, Bill Cosby, Cindi Lauper, Brenda Russell, Jennifer Warnes, Michael Bolton, Ronnie Spector, Diane Warren, Leiber/Stoller and Barry Mann, to name just a few.
