Biography
Kumi Tanioka (????, born August 29, 1974 in Hiroshima, Japan) has been a soundtrack composer for Square Enix since 1998. Her prior education includes attending the University of Kobe. Her interest in music dates back to playing piano at an early age. Tanioka's first big compositions were used for 2001's Final Fantasy XI (Online). Alongside Nobuo Uematsu (????) and Naoshi Mizuta (????), she became a member of the composer group The Star Onions.
