Hästpojken

Biography

Hästpojken is a pop band from Gothenburg, Sweden that started out as a duo consisting of Martin Elisson (formerly singer of Bad Cash Quartet) and Lars "Poplars" Malmros (formerly drums in Broder Daniel). During the fall of 2007 the band opened for Sahara Hotnights in their Swedish tour. Their first single "Shane MacGowan" became a MySpace/radio hit, and Hästpojken ("The Horse Boy") released their debut album "Caligula" in January 2008. Poplars left the band because of personal reasons in April and Nico Janco (of Whyte Seeds) replaced him.
