(hòuh?i dàsh?yú, in English: Queen Sea Big Shark) was formed in 2005 and almost from the very beginning became one of the most watched bands in the Beijing scene and one of the most admired among the younger bands. They have a very funky but also very hard-rocking sound that in some ways reminds of psychobilly and post-punk. Queen Sea Big Shark combine tight rhythms with raunchy guitars, sometimes more rocky, sometimes with an 80s synth-pop style.
