Biography
The band "Ikarisches Ensemble" from Stuttgart/Germany was founded in the year 2001. The aim of "Ikarisches Ensemble" is to set poetry into music. On the one hand these German poems illustrate the loss of transzendental certainties. On the other hand the music describes the speechlessness when language can't go any further. The result is an musical mixture of avantgarde rock, classical music and jazz which challenges the audience to listen to.
