An impressive big band formed and led by Jaco Pastorius, known for his innovations on the fretless bass. (Note: This is different than Jaco's own "Word of Mouth Big Band", which he led during the early 80's This concert was featured on an NPR live broadcast narrated by Branford Marsalis.)
