Biography
Jaska Lukkarinen is an up-and-coming drummer who won the prestigious Sony Jazz Award in 2008. His CV includes work with a variety of groups in several different fields of music, including the Finnish folk institution Värttinä, the internationally acclaimed dancelfoor jazz act Dalindèo, the most prestigious Finnish big band to date, the UMO Jazz Orchestra, and the highly regarded rock band Honey B & T-Bones, to name but a few. The Jaska Lukkarinen Trio also includes Jussi Kannaste on tenor sax and Antti Lötjönen on bass.
