Biography
Leandro & Leonardo was a successful Brazilian country music duo formed by two brothers in 1983 in Goianápolis, Goiás. They achieved superstar status in Brazilian music, with large legions of fans. They were the most successful performers of "sertanejo," a popular country style in Brazil that is typically performed by duos. They sold over 25 million records. In 1998, after release of the album "Um Sonhador", the duo came to an end when a devastating and rare cancer took the life of Leandro.
