Biography
San Francisco thrash funk band formed in 1984. The Limbomaniacs had something of a revolving door ethic when it came to band members, with players constantly coming and going. By 1990, the rising success of Punk-Funksters Red Hot Chili Peppers ensured this San Francisco underground outfit would gain a modicum of notoriety. When hot-item-of-the-moment Bill Laswell agreed to produce their debut album Stinky Grooves, bringing along with him funk legends Bootsy Collins and Maceo Parker for cameo appearances, the spotlight got even hotter.
