Biography

Maciej Male?czuk (b. 1961) is a Polish singer, guitarist, and poet. Male?czuk was born on the 14th August 1961 in Wojcieszów, near Z?otoryja. In 1981 he was sentenced to two years in prison for refusing military service. After his release he started playing the guitar and composing songs, initially in the blues style. H played his songs as a busker on the streets of Krakow, Warsaw, Poznan, and other Polish cities. Between 1986 and 2005 he was the lead singer and frontman of Püdelsi, with whom he recorded several albums.
