MacKeel turned clubs into kitchen parties and festivals into ceilidhs. They've brought new life to the proud heritage of East Coast music with their pop edged, traditional Celtic sound, gaining a strong fan base wherever they went. From Pictou County, N.S., this young kilt- clad sextet delivered an instant celebration of remarkable music appealing to traditional music lovers with their bagpipes, fiddle, and tin whistle, not to mention their high energy show powered by drums, bass, and guitar.
