Maria T?nase (25 September 1913 - 22 June 1963) was a Romanian singer of traditional and popular music. Born in the Bucharest suburb of C?r?midari, Maria T?nase studied at the ?cola primar? nr. 11 T?b?cari, then at Ion Heliade R?dulescu High School before dropping out. In 1934, she joined the C?r?bu?
