Mark de Clive-Lowe (MdCL) is a musician and producer originally from New Zealand, and now based in Los Angeles, CA since 2009 after ten years residing in London, UK. He has been one of the key musicians in the Broken Beat and Nu Jazz movements, blending jazz, ethnic music and urban grooves into a 21st Century sound. He has been involved with over 150 releases collaborating with as diverse a range of artists as Lauryn Hill, Jody Watley, Sy Smith, UK soul singer Omar
